WHO CAN VOLUNTEER?

You can be from any walk of life. You just need some time to spare. You don't need any special skills, just a keen sense of initiative and willingness to get involved. We ask our volunteers to be reliable and flexible. As Diversity Films is not-for-profit organisation run by active media professionals, volunteers need to be comfortable working in a busy, changeable environment.

WHY VOLUNTEER?

There are many reasons to volunteer with Diversity Films:

WHAT WE CAN'T OFFER

Diversity Films are not able to offer free professional filmmaking training outwith the organised filmmaking groups we run in communities in Glasgow. Volunteers will receive some filmmaking related training through carrying out their volunteer work depending on the nature of their volunteering.

Volunteering with Diversity Films does not guarantee a route into filmmaking or the media industries. However, it is an excellent opportunity to learn about what we, and organisations like us, do and gain a valuable insight into filmmaking and areas of the media industries which we work in.
